This includes local economic development and regeneration, arts/cutlural strategy, heritage and community. We have worked on strategies for local authorities, charities, arts/cutlural and heritage organisations and education sector.

Essex Network of Artists Studios (ENAS)

The Cultural Engine worked with the Essex Network of Artist Studios and Essex County Council to put together an action and funding plan, working with key players to further develop the collaborative concept of studios working together for mutual benefit, sharing best practice and supporting local creative economies.

The Cultural Engine provides support for this important event on Southend’s cultural calendar, working with the White Bus to secure funding from the British Film Institute each year, writing activity/summary reports and developing the festival’s strategy in promoting British independent film and filmmakers.

North Thames Fisheries Local Action Group

Cultural Engine was the lead local partner with the Thames Estuary Partnership in managing the North Thames Fisheries Local Action Group.
