Working with Essex County Council and many local partners we developed the ‘Resorting to the Coast’ stage 2 HLF application which included writing a comprehensive interpretation strategy about the undiscovered / under-interpreted heritage of the seaside towns in Tendring. The Cultural Engine worked with the Essex Network of Artist Studios and Essex County Council to put together an action and funding plan, working with key players to further develop the collaborative concept of studios working together for mutual benefit, sharing best practice and supporting local creative economies.

Working with Sustainable Motion CIC and Southend Borough Council to develop a business case to secure Local Sustainable Transport Funding for a new Cycle Hub at Southend Central Station.
